These sets of notes were originally written for a (nominally) Christian Union Housegroup at St. Martin's College, Lancaster (England), and as such are aimed at an undergraduate college level group. Please feel free to use them, just stating who they come from and refer to this page. Ultimately I might try to find a way to send these to interested parties (as email attachments) or ftp them. Any recommendations of methods etc. would be welcome.
The material is drawn from a number of sources, including the author's personal notes, The New Jerome Bible Commentary (highly recommended, Darton, Longman & Todd), The New Bible Dictionary (published in the U.K. by Inter Varsity Press) and The Wycliffe Bible Commmentary (fair only, Moody Press).
