This was the first of the Bibliophobe's Guides, and ironically I've not completely typed it up.
The aim of this series of studies is to highlight some points within Luke's Gospel of value to Christians, not only in the capacity of showing the thorough validity and scholarship of the book (backing up the use of the Gospel as an instrument for evangelism) but also to enhance the understanding of its depth and maybe challenge some common assumptions.
Unless noted otherwise all quotations from the Bible are rendered 'thus' and taken from the NIV. Other quoted material is in italics.
In common with the later studies on Acts it is designed to run over a series of weeks, and is divided into 5 parts.
