Such irony that after
The celebration of atoning
Sacrifice and resurrection
My life may continue
Mundane, unchanged and
Stained.
Father, forgive me,
I know what I do,
Yet not how,
Or why.
And I, rationally-engined
Child of western logic
Am fool enough to
Want a
Reason.
